Anga is a Chinese Medicine Fertility and Obstetrics Specialist with a wealth of experience and expertise. She may use a number of different modalities in her practice, combining acupuncture, moxibustion, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na and Qigong with Functional Medicine, 5-element nutrition and nutritional supplements, Maya abdominal fertility massage, craniosacral techniques and bodywork.

Anga‘s mother was a doctor, whilst her grandmother used to treat her childhood diseases with herbal medicine. Anga was influenced by both traditions. She combines her skills in Chinese medicine with a thorough knowledge of western medicine and fertility treatments.

Anga began her career in medicine with a BSc in Nutrition and Physiotherapy from UC Berkeley, and went on to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, from where she graduated in 2002.

During her degree programme, Anga collaborated with midwives as a doula at the birthing centre in Hillcrest Hospital, and worked with doctors at the San Diego Hospice and the Children’s Hospital, as well as various fertility clinics.

After graduating, Anga went on to do extensive specialist post-graduate training in the field of Reproductive Medicine, including a Masters in Chinese Medicine in Women’s Health at Shandong University in China, and an Advanced Diploma Chinese Medicine for Fertility and Pregnancy with Naava Carman. She has also completed a Certificate in Functional Medicine at IFM, specialising in hormones, adrenals, brain axis and gut health.

She has worked for Zita West Fertility Clinic in London, as well as running her own clinics in California and Barcelona. She has taught Chinese medicine and worked as a clinical supervisor in schools and clinics in Europe and the US. She also works for the International Fertility Company, facilitating the fertility treatment of couples and individuals, travelling from UK to IVF clinics in Barcelona.

Anga treats gynaecological disorders, male and female infertility and miscarriage, as well as offering IVF support and pregnancy care. She will take into account diet, lifestyle, emotions, environmental toxins, menstrual patterns and blood results and devise a treatment strategy according to your individual needs.
She can also arrange western medical blood tests where necessary.

Anga's aim is to support couples at every step of the fertility journey to conception and throughout pregnancy, to labour, birth and postpartum.
